Lessons to be Learnt
- 'I think the video could have had a bit more meaning to it as it is quite basic and the only scenes they really show is her singing and partying. They could have shown the story to the song better'.
- 'Some of the shots were really effective like when all the city lights went out but I think she could have used more better shots of different things'.
- 'I like the whole meaning to the song about enjoying life but I found the music video a bit boring. I think that partying in music videos is very common and she should make it more unique and original. To improve it, they could have made a story line to the music video'.
- Use a variety of camera shots instead of the basics like close up, long shot, extreme close up etc. Try to use more tracking shots and pans etc.
- I liked where she has filmed the video which was in a quite isolated area at the beginning so that would be something to think about to add into the music video myself and my group will create later on.
- It is a good idea to have the singer seen in the music video as the main focal point as it helps with brand recognition.
