For this short media project, we re-created a short clip of Missy Higgins, 'Everyone's Waiting'. We only re-created from 27 seconds in to around 40 seconds in groups.
At first, it was hard to get the clip exactly the same as it was a sunny day and it was meant to go to a more of a sunset colour in the second shot. We played around with the effects like the brightness, contrast and colour and we made it look as similar as possible and so that you can clearly see the colour transition.
One thing I would change is that the lyrics don't quite match up on what our actress was saying. However, we tried to find a solution to this so we decided to slow down the clip so some of the words she was saying are in sync with the music.
Another disadvantage for us was that we didn't have any available tripods for us to place the camera on so we had to film it by hand which was difficult as it was quite shaky but it still worked out well.
Overall, I think that we reinacted the clip particularly well and our editing skills made it look better and more similar to the original clip as we just had to make some improvements and adjustments to it.
