Our whole storyline for the music video was going to be based around a toxic relationship in which the boyfriend is a dipsomaniac which is when someone is addicted to alcohol. The video was going to show what the relationship is like when he is drunk in comparison of when he is sober. We were going to show that he is more affectionate with his girlfriend when he is intoxicated but when he is clean, her treats her like she doesn't exist and doesn't show her any love or affection. The video would have told a narritive and it would have shown a third person perspective but also shown how the girl feels in the relationship. We would have shown flashbacks of the relationship towards the bridge of the song and to show that it is a flashback, we were going to change the contrast colour to a darker tone. It would show at the end of the video the choice the girl decides to make whether to stay in the relationship or leave it.
However, this idea had caused many problems for us in terms of finding good actors because we had quite emotional scenes in there in which they actors would have to over-act. We then changed our idea to one actress lip-syncing in three different locations and it will have many effects added into the video but it will not strongly tell a narrative.
