Costume & Make-Up Research

We have decided that for our girl actress, she is going to be wearing different types of clothing in each location; in the bedroom, the forest and the empty classroom which will be close-up shots. At home, we thought that it would be better if she wore very laidback clothing like jeans along with a jumper. Her make-up would be barely visible; not over the top with her hair down. We chose this style for her at home just to show she is comfortable in her own space and not all dressed up. It will also go with the contrast/filter we will add onto these scenes which will be a dull/grey tone to show how she's feeling.

We were originally going to film some other shots at a theatre but due to some issues, we had to change our location. We decided to change it to a forest and there we will portray her as a completely different person. She will be not wearing much make-up apart for some foundation and her hair will be loose. The type of clothes we envision her wearing are loose, flowy clothes, most likely a dress, which seems quite light.

In the classroom, because it is mostly filled with close up shots, it doesn't really matter on what her whole outfit is so we had instructed our actress to bring more 'party' clothes like a top and skirt or a high-low dress. In these shots, she will be wearing subtle make-up with her hair down and waved.
