Location Research
We have decided to film in three locations which would be a bedroom, a forest and an empty room. The empty room was needed for some of the lip-syncing so we did this in school in a classroom. We originally decided we wanted to film some shots at a theater but as we phoned up many theaters like Wycombe Swan and Norden Farm, we weren't able to afford it to use it for an hour as the prices were around £600. We then thought about using Cliveden National Trust Park so we emailed them but they needed some forms which we weren't able to provide so we had to think of an alternative location for this, which is when we decided on the forest by my house. Before, we also wanted to film in a hotel B&B so we tried out some shots there but we wanted to re-do them so we called up again and she could only do one week in December which was too late for us to film. We then thought all we needed was a bedroom so we decided to use my house.
When we first thought about this music video, we figured it would be a good idea to film in London so we can get shots of the skyline and we would also hire out a flat to use as out home location. We looked on websites such as 'Shoot Factory' and 'Amazing Space' but they were too expensive to hire out and after getting some feedback from this, we realised that if we did shoot in London, we would be portraying the characters as wealthy which was not our intention. Below are some of the rooms we looked at to hire out on those two websites.
