As the genre we are doing is synth-pop, the type of audience that would mainly be willing to listen to this sort of music are 15-25 year olds. We are going to use a focus group throughout this whole project and they will be giving us feedback and constructive criticism of our work. When putting together our focus group, we decided we would get better opinions if we used people in our target age range. To find out our target age range, I have created an audience profile below.

Description: A typical member of our target audience would be teenagers who are in school/university or young adults. They would probably be someone who enjoys all sorts of pop music and that would be the main genre they listen to on a daily basis. They would love going to concerts and listening to the sort of songs that help you through rough times like heartbreak or relationships. They would probably be seen as pristine and pure but underneath may be their 'alter ego' that no one knows about.
